An energetic and competitive movement game where those with the sharpest listening skills and agility will reign supreme. Aural training and sound recognition are mixed with fixed body movements that get progressively harder as the game is played. Anyone who makes a wrong move is out and they instantly join the panel of judges, making it even more challenging for those still in motion. The last person performing accurate movements is the winner of the game. It’s a fast-paced and intense guaranteed good time!
Dancers will learn the structure of beginner choreography and how to mathematically create their own line or circle dances. We’ll also work on mirror movements and challenges in balance, coordination and flexibility. Each participant will have the opportunity to lead the class and share their creative works.
Throw your hands up in the air, wave your hips like you just don't care, unwind, relax and lemme hear you scream AW YEAH! Participants will pay homage to the most influential dances in modern history and work our way through the hits of the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's.
