About the MMJers

Jeremy came to Philadelphia, from the Jersey Shore, pursuing a degree in theater from Temply University. Since graduating in 2015, Jeremy as been working as the lead singer of Third Period French (www.thirdperiodfrench.com), a top 40 cover band that performs in the Philadelphia Region. He’s also a solo artist, spending a good portion of his time writing, recording and performing original pop/rock music. To learn more about Jeremy’s music, please visit www.jeremyadammusic.com.

Anna was born and raised in the fine city of Philadelphia and she is proud and excited to be going into her third year with Music Monkey Jungle! Her favorite MMJ Song is The Fabulous Feeling Song because science proves that singing nonsense words with your friends makes you live longer. When she’s not playing in the Jungle, you can find her creating and performing highly theatrical music with her theater troupe, The Hum’n’bards (www.humnbards.com). Anna is in her second year of training to teach the Alexander Technique (www.alexandertechnique.com) so she can teach people how to use their bodies and brains more effectively! Anna is happiest when she is sharing music with her friends and family.

Travis grew up in Caldwell, New Jersey, but has called Philadelphia his home since 2009. Travis has been known to rock out at Music Monkey Jungle performances on guitar, bass or banjo, to jump around, and to take freeze dance a little too seriously! Outside the Jungle, Travis plays an array of instruments in several bands throughout the city. He loves exploring the haunted sites of Old City with the Spirits of ’76 Ghost Tours (www.spiritsof76.com), spreading holiday cheer at Macy’s Dickens Village and works within the city’s indie theatre scene as cofounder of Hum’n’bards Theater Troupe, LLC with his life-partner and fellow Music Monkey, Anna. Travis is happiest with an instrument in his hands and with good friends by his side, which happens to be whenever he’s in the Jungle!

Marci loves being a part of Music Monkey Jungle because she loves connecting with children, through music! When she is not Music Monkey Jungling she leads an 8 piece wedding/event band called Back2Life (BVTLive.com), teaches voice lessons at Blue Bond Guitars (www.bluebondguitars.com) and leads an after school music program for children between Kindergarten and 5th grade in Haddonfield, NJ.

EricMMJSiteEric is a proud Philly native, who was raised with profound love for musical theater. As a young child, Eric was constantly belting out anything Ethel Merman or Barbra Streisand. In 2007, Eric attended Florida Atlantic University where he received a BFA in Acting. While in school, Eric decided to pick up a little instrument called the ukulele, and he hasn’t put it down since! In 2011, he was even crowned The Bushman World Champion Ukulele Player (no really,  it’s true) but fear not, fame has not changed him. Just like you and I, Eric enjoys blowing bubbles, singing obnoxiously loud, and turning up at any MMJ dance party. Eric can be found all over Philly, hosting a variety of nightlife events, including The Eric Jaffe Show, an all live singing cabaret, which takes place on the third Friday of every month at Tavern on Camac. Eric is also a proud founding member of the drag/comedy troupe, The Haus of Ham, and can be found throughout the Gayborhood, covered in glitter and spreading love and light through song.
